A few months back we were fortunate enough to visit Florence and serendipitously found the tomb of one of most influential person in history, Galileo Galilie. Found in Santa Croce, it's a must visit if you wish to pay homage. Renaissance master Michaelangelo is also entombed in Santa Croce.

This is my favorite local park cat. I live close to a park that is home to a couple of stray (neutered) cats. They get fed by local neighborhood paw friends. They are free to roam and play with other hooman owned pets. They also have shelter from the rain and can stay cool during hot summer months.
