ghosting is one of the worst parts of social media, having grown up being rejected in person being ghosted is infinitely worse, the lack of effort to communicate makes me genuinely lose my faith in online friendships as a whole, being busy/occupied is fine but intentionally ignoring someone is not.

Fun fact I'm actually 20 XD, I just was never "conventionally" attractive and never had that bitchy Regina George phase, well I almost did but my partner who's older snapped me tf out of it very quickly
