I don't really enjoy making boss fights, so I thought what if instead of boss fights infe2tation has a mini game where you get to play as D3P-UT, your robot sidekick! There'll still be an end boss to finish the game. What do you think?

Get equipped with explosives! Great for clearing crumbly rock that's getting in your way. At this point I'm undecided if the explosion should do damage to the player, it doesn't right now. #c64 #commodore64 #retrodev #retrogame #8bit #runngun #pixelart

Over the weekend I added a bat enemy type, lifts and WIP music+SFX. Needs more music and SFX, this was just to get it working. Took some shuffling of some scroll code to get the timing right. #c64 #commodore64 #retrogame #8bit #pixelart #indiegame

Here's what I have been playing around with. My first multi directional C64 scroller. Obviously need to deal with the bottom row, my thought was to put a strip of horizontally stretched sprites over the top. Interested to hear how other devs have dealt with this. #c64 #commodore64 #retrodev #asm
