Steve Pearce, the Republican nominee to run BLM, has a long history of selling off public land. He authored a letter pushing for the sale and development of public land in 2012, illegally cut trees down in 2011, and has attempted to exempt logging in National Forests from environmental review. Gianforte's Japan trip brings back higher prices for Montanans. Gov. Gianforte signed a document with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to expand data center investment, particularly in southern Montana. Data centers are a corporate money move. They get richer while you pay for their project. Greg has four mansions. He doesn't care if your energy bill goes up.

Montana's Department of Labor estimates that 66,000 parents can't work full time from lack of childcare. So... What are Montana Democrats doing? Bills killed by Republican majorities in Montana's 2025 legislature: HB 457: Provided childcare scholarships to families making less than 85% of Montana median income. HB 456: Provided childcare scholarships to workers employed at licensed day-cares. HB 220: Provided a $1,200 child tax credit for families with children under 5.

Over $1,000 more than the national average. Montana has 978 licensed childcare centers, with capacity for 23,503 children. 68,129 children live in Montana! ONLY 1 in 3 Montana children have access to licensed care. Biggest childcare deficits in Montana: Yellowstone County: Capacity for 4,195 out of 11,114 children. Flathead County: Capacity for 1,744 out of 6,187 children. Gallatin County: Capacity for 2,708 out of 7,045 children. Missoula County: Capacity for 3,123 out of 6,437 children

MDP Statement on the government shutdown. "Over the last seven weeks, Democrats across the country have defended the working class from Republican leadership hellbent on raising healthcare prices. Tens of thousands of Montanans will see their premiums rise due to Republicans’ inability to step up when it mattered most. Donald Trump and Montana’s all-Republican delegation have betrayed the people of Montana every chance they get. This was their plan – and when thousands of Montana families suffer, it will be their cross to bear. They continue to drag their feet to help working families, but rushed to vote in a $1.3 trillion tax break for billionaires. While we are grateful to Senate Democrats for restoring jobs and backpay for Montana workers, the Montana Democratic Party is deeply frustrated and disappointed that Congress has yet to reach a tangible solution for extending Affordable Care Act subsidies. As noted in the Montana Democrats platform, healthcare is a human right – full stop – and that fight still continues today. MDP Statement on the government shutdown. We stand with Democrats in Congress continuing to hold the line for affordable healthcare. We will not allow a full-scale Republican assault on Montanans’ healthcare.
