The second week I was at my new job the entire IT department got laid off and replaced with a cheap contractor. Tech jobs are so awful rn. I am glad I am technically not in a tech job. I will be helping them automate some old systems though so I do get to do tech things. :)

I just finished my first month of a new job after a year and half long search. I'm a computer scientist. My new job is records specialist at a small college. I gave up on computer science and found something that pays less but I think will make me much happier.
