We dropped this idea (frozen as of today) for a number of reasons. If we saw huge interest we could consider reviving it, I guess. But right now it sits in a place of lower chances than some of the others we put on the website.

The idea of making an album or single was a prototype of what would become the comic system in MonCon (many times things we explore on these game ideas become parts of MonProm games, and viceversa).

This project is on standby due to how far is from our usual area of control. And of course also due to its high complexity!

Progress works like in PKMN + a very animenarrative (think Yu Gi Oh, but everyone is super extra about chess). Dream would be to also add a workshop for players to create their own versions of chess (combining the many mutations the game introduces) to play w/ other players.

Move on a map & visit many regions (akin to FFTactics Advance navigation). Each region focuses on a type of mutation: weird boards; special tiles; new pieces; cards; etc. Fight many battles, master the mutations and face the region’s Grandmaster!

Disconnect from fantasy and game design.

For these reasons it is not considered of included on the site. But sharing it to see people’s reaction.

Very easy to either suffer from scope creep, or risking to feel a bit empty with each dating sim not having much content. But especially scope creep.

For a game w/ a fantasy of a multiverse of dating sims, ironically dating is sort of secondary (think MonRoad).

A simpler shape is just a collection of 6-9 silly short dating sims.

The idea is on standby for a number of reasons.
First, each dating sim had 1-4 characters and much other stuff. Too high amount of art workload.

You are rejects from dating sims or characters from dating sims that failed. You wanna build your own dating sim (think of the Comic Mechanic on MonCon). Alternatively your dating sim is like a Destination on MonRoad, choosing from 5-6 tied to different stats.

The best & most direct reference would be the game “Cornerpond”. Here, instead of fishing you’d be fishing… for a cryptid pic.

The idea is you have your camera set on the corner of your screen & you can go about your day till something blurry appears, and you can take the pic!
