Tonks the cat. I got her when she was 9 months, and I was in grad school, age 24. JKR, the terf, has definitely made me regret the name.

At almost 16, everything is wrong with Tonks. She is a tiny abusive zombie bag of bones. I love her. 12/10 purrs

I am determined to make more progress on painting these kitchen cabinets mountain blue with Linoljefärg linseed oil paint from Earth + Flax. I've been slowly working on this for a year now 🙃 #oldhouselove

For Black History Month, I recommend these essential reads, which are grounding and motivating against the overwhelm.

Current house project #2 - Kitchen Cabinets & Wallpaper

Last year, my BIL built us custom cabinets. I'm slowly painting them mountain blue with linseed oil paint.

William Morris wallpaper will tie my past sloppy tiling with the blue. I don't want to retile. Imperfection is fine.

Luci - adopted in 2024, now age 4. Seal colored pit bull x bull dog. Springy. Jumps 4 feet in the air from standing. Loves tug, jolly ball, barn hunt, & fast cat. We're going to try agility this year. Loyal, energetic, and eager. Manipulates me with cuteness.

Oscar - Adopted in '21. Now 6. Brindle pit bull, loves people, anxious. Gets hives from nature, foods, stress. We do dog sports as an outlet. Favs: weight pull, scent work.

He can be a challenge, but at his core he is the sweetest, emotional marshmallow.

8 architectural salvage doors and door plates and reproduction knobs and hinges waiting to be fixed and merged to match the 4 original interior doors. Restoring what's missing and giving the '51 add-on matching character.
