The reason you don't want to just "desaturate" your art is because *very long-winded and complicated tech reasons*
Here's a comparison of the differences on my art. TBH, if desaturation is your only option (idk if Procreate has the "hue" or "color" blending modes) then it's OK enough as it's subtle
