One of the many many fun “found object” solutions I’ve found in puppet filmmaking was lumping up my comforter to look like a hillside, using some creative forced perspective…

Early fire element test. We used various methods to create our puppet sets for The Outsider, but from the beginning we wanted to keep it feeling handmade. Since fire shows up a lot in the film, it was important to nail that particular element.
