CALL TO ACTION! WE MUST STOP SB 236 which will be heard in the Senate Judiciary Cmte on Wed. Call and email the committee members and tell them vote NO on the Murder Bill which would literally nullify HIPAA protections.

When transfolx are being attacked by the federal government, we cannot be silent. The actions of one mass shooter should never result in an entire group of people being vilified. Monroe County NOW Supports ALL women. Period. #womensrights #humanrights #monroecountynow

Queer rights is one of NOW's core issues because the rights of queer women is a women's issue, but also the rights of all queer people to self determination is directly linked to NOW's other core values. A feminist future can only be created if it is inclusive of all of our siblings.

The National Organization for Women stands with the queer community as it is attacked under the current administration. All people should be free to live their own life as they please, and attempts to restrict people's autonomy is unacceptable.

MCNOW recognizes that this issue is acute for groups such as Black, Indigenous, and communities of color, undocumented women, and the LGBTQIA+ community, and that our advocacy must call out the disparities between communities. Join MCNOW to support the struggle against gender based violence.

NOW has always been committed to a vision of society without violence against women, which Monroe County NOW is proud to fight for today. Ending violence against women requires taking our efforts into our homes, communities, and streets, as the issue pervades the many parts of our lives.

The National Organization for Women has a history of promoting reproductive justice, which Monroe County NOW is proud to continue today. We are at a low point in this fight, but this means we need to return to our legacy of collective action to expand our rights and provide for ourselves.
