This leads me to believe that Mortis often takes over when Mutsumi is under pressure, especially during TV appearances that require public speaking.
Considering her mother is an actress, it’s interesting that so far only Mortis has shown or inherited that skill.

I hope this doesn’t sound silly, but I have a theory that Mortis has been around since Mutsumi’s childhood. It seems like Mortis is the one being praised by her parents for being "talented" - showing skills that don’t actually belong to Mutsumi?

I have been looking forward to to get a glimpse into Mutsumi's thoughts because she is the most reserved in the group, and I love how the animation brings it to life

I know they have dropped hints about the "double Mutsumi" several times, especially with her frequent dissociation in the last episode, but I never expected them to confirm my suspicion that she has DID - pretty much? Assuming Mortis functions as her protector within her system
