Making my way, the only way I know how. Stupidly optimistic about the fate of humanity even faced with current reality; too much sci fi. #Artist, #animal person, #ADHDcrafter, #GenX Nasty Woman, #UU, #humanist, #DIY crazy person, soon a #DMV resident
Hah!

Oh man, trailer trash roots? It’s like Covid cuts all over again!

Not before they get work out of them in prison. And lead makes you stupid, thus compliant

This is awful. My hubs works in water and the industry is working to replace those lead lines and connections, but it’s a slow process that requires money for infrastructure! That’s hard to come by, and likely will be even harder with this guy.

I was just about to... eh... slip in here and suggest the exact same thing :)
April 9, 2025 at 11:25 PM
Same! I love them so much

I found a sale ad, so everyone has their own home!

Now what do I do with the other 20 plants?? 🌱 #gardeningfeed #springplanting #plantparent

And you shouldn’t! Like pigs, they would happily eat you if you died in their yard. I’m not going to be the one who says you should be surprised if the raptors eat your face :) I still love them, and find their ruthless Lord of the Flies philosophy charming.

True, but I had a small backyard flock and the eggs are quantifiably better, they are an amazing outlet for food scraps, they make fertilizer for the garden, they eat bugs and mice, and are like having dog friendly dinosaurs mugging you when you walk out of the house. So much fun to have around.

I may drool when you open the cheese drawer, but that’s also my strength!

I think I grew some last year, and we did it in a wicking bed (because it was in Texas, which is hell to keep things watered) and it went mad growing.

Welcome! I found you in the gardening feed, btw :)

I like all those words together
March 2, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Oh, that’s interestingly complicated
February 19, 2025 at 12:00 PM
Who was my hero, so I’m good with that
February 17, 2025 at 4:17 PM
I imagine that’s true! I hadn’t thought of it like that. I see the Trump supporters are really pleased with what he’s doing, and I’m like, am I the crazy one? Because I see disaster coming. I guess that’s exactly what climate folks feel like.
