They meet Rosaline at the entrance and get the hell outta dodge, heading back to Bumblesville. While they were gone, a whole theme park was built next to Bumblesville, much to the chagrin of everyone actually living there.

And Melissa is confronted by The Archive herself. Mental torture by the ghosts of your past moment. But just before she can break completely, just before she gives in, Bee bursts in (all scuffed up and a lot of their fabric torn) and quickly scoops up Melissa before running out.

Bee is pit against HYD, where Bee (not very balanced and can't fight) isn't doing so well and HYD (destabilizing and very sad about fighting its only friend) is somehow doing worse.
Rosaline is recruited to work for The Archive, where she would only have one job and get more than enough to live.

A lot of pushy people try to sell them cybernetic enhancements, especially Melissa (who is quite disturbed by this (she especially doesn't trust technology here)) while Rosaline shows them around the city after work, and they come across the headquarters for Archival, INC after hours

Melissa, while passed out, is being drugged by... Someone. It looks like The Archive, but they're just a hologram, how would they hold a needle? Bee catches them, and the figure seemingly disappears into the shadows before Bee can get a good look at them.

And eventually there's a breaking point. Rosaline runs away, finding it easier to disappear than to say no to anything, Bee freaks out and goes looking for her, and Melissa is attacked by HYD, leading to there being no more truly safe place for her.

Anyways back to Melissa. Her paranoia ramps up, as she can't go back to her home because of The Friendonos taking it over, and she's aware of The Archive looking for her, she is generally Not Having A Good Time. But at least she has Bee and Rosaline there for her... Mostly.

Yeah. It is. It sucks to work at Archival, INC attractions and the people coming in to gawk at "Techknow-nothings" are generally assholes and don't care about Bumblesville itself, leaving a lot of trash and burnt-out or angry locals in their wake.

A lot of outside folk from bigger cities start to visit more often, where the audience sees a lot more traditional cyberpunk imagery. A lot of Bumblesville locals hate the newcomers, but local business is booming, for now, so is it really that bad..?

ANYWAYS. Now Archive is hunting down Melissa and The Friendonos get even more erratic and comically violent trying to learn as much as possible about her. Archival, INC (Archive's company) decides to invest in Bumblesville and create attractions (to mixed reviews from locals)

Rosaline comes out of a stress-relief baking session to Melissa being unceremoniously dumped on her doorstep while Bee runs off to distract the crowd.
What a nice way to meet!
