Sooooo what if I just stayed here a little longer…?

I found this beauty on my way back to the hotel after 11pm, my last night in Bangkok. I felt as safe moving around at night as I do in Sydney: safe enough, enough of the time, and not taking any late-night-deserted-streets risks. Of course when I see Frida I think of this letter/poem that she wrote.

So right now, I’m SUPER chuffed with Past Monica, who had the foresight to buy a She-Wee to bring on the trip. Literal life saver!

Bangkok sunset, a quiet-feeling moment in a lively, noisy city

Canal cruise around one of the Bangkok waterways (thanks for the rec Mary-Helen & Sandra!). Someone really loved this boat, it was kept and polished/treated immaculately. The tour guides here are so knowledgeable and love their city/country so much, and it’s a pleasure to hear and experience this.

Street? I guess the definitions vary…
Exploring a new city is my favourite thing, even when it’s a bit out of my comfort zone. Hi Bangkok! I think you’re awesome!
