Gotta say man, I really love a lot about 2XKO but the current state of the game at higher level kinda blows to play. I sure love having my opponent not interact with me, jumpback call assist, have me hit their assist and by the time I can chase them down they have assist again. Rinse repeat.

As I expected after playing the demo a while back, Absolum is absolute gas. If you like roguelites, side-scrolling beat em' ups, or even just doing fighting game combos I highly recommend checking it out. Especially at only $25, it feels like a steal.

This is maybe gonna be a hot take but I'm starting to think that 2XKO would just be better if there...weren't any fuses? Most of my current concerns about the game are all fuse based. I think Freestyle might be the only one that doesn't bother me because they still have to interact to get value.

Before the beta came out I honestly didn't think I would be able to hit GM. Though ranked is probably a little juiced to get you there, kinda like SF6 Master Rank. I have some concerns about a few system and balance things in 2XKO but overall it's just so damn fun.

Gave Silksong a try even though I don't really like Hollow Knight, unfortunately it didn't do much for me either. Still just feels like there's too many layers of friction to do anything, makes exploring feel like a chore than the fun part like most other metroidvanias.

Lucy in Strive is sick as hell, ArcSys did a great job. I haven't played Strive since switching to leverless and I might go back to stick for it. My ass CANNOT do HCB+F motions consistently on leverless.

Knockout Tour in MKW is the TFT of racing games, the best you can do is play to the best of your ability and the chips fall where they may. Don't mind it too much since it seems like you gain rating for finishing anywhere close to the top half of the players. 24 racers might be a bit much item wise.

Picked up Elden Ring Nightreign with the intent to mostly play solo and it's obviously not the intended experience which I'm fine with but I think From has a lot of really easy tuning levers to make it just a straight up better experience...(1/?)

Man, seeing what the response to Marathon has been after ARC Raiders started their test makes me think that Bungie dropping the NDA without increasing the amount of people they invited to the Alpha Test has ended up being such an unforced error. Been seeing some truly dumb takes from people...

Did the Liberty Falls Easter Egg in BO6 Zombies solo, felt like a really good middle point between challenging but doable. I've tried a few of the COD Zombies EEs in the past but this is the first one I've made it through all the way.

Gonna use my inaugural post on this thing to say that Rivals 2 is super sick. I wasn't into platform fighters until Smash Ult but Rivals 2's movement and general feel has really hooked me like no other plat fighter and the netcode feels superb. Big recommend for anyone who is into the genre.
