What risks are we taking? Is this all performative?

My disappointments in rallys\protests like this:
-there no call to action. What are they asking me to do?
-there's no specific ask. Who are we asking\demanding to do what? I'd ask our senators to execute their constitutional duties and reclaim their legislative powers.

Take seriously fiscal responsibility and speak out against provisions of the BBB that increase the national debt.
Speak and vote against the tax break for billionaires

Speak out and demand the Trump administration respect the rule of law and separation of powers

Speak out against Trump corruption and family self enrichment through crypto scams

Final points.
You need to claw back the legislative powers you have abrogated over the years

Consider impeachment of the president for his unconstitutional arrogation of judicial and legislative power to himself

Taking a stand on these issues, you risk getting labeled an enemy too. Time to be bold

Further points

If the Trump administration can disappear people it deemed enemies, it could use this message as evidence that I am an enemy and disappear me.

You need to claw back the legislative powers you have abrogated over the years.

Boycott seems appropriate. You're not working your legislative responsibilities; you can watch a broadcast to prepare to respond to BS.

It's dirty politics analogous to blocking the Merritt Garland vote.
It reinforces the understanding that our institutions are rigged and manipulated by those in power.
Go ahead. The games are rigged. But spare me any righteous arguments of 'but they do it. '

This stuff is just silly. Does anyone believe the Senate would agree to have their voting diluted by two votes of Greenland became a state, much less diluted by twenty votes of each of Canada's ten provides became a state?

I think one of the answers to the question of what started the failure of democracy in the Western hemisphere: the Chicago School's Shock Doctrine as documented by Naomi Klein and the conflation of the words democracy and capitalism.
