I don't agree with this, I'd rather focus on not funding harmful individuals like JKR, treating my friends who are trans with respect and treating all people who do the first two things I mentioned with respect too no matter what children's story they still like

I understand and I agree JKR's takes do not need space and her actions don't need funding. What I don't agree with is putting so much blame on people who are not funding her but are just saying they like a story that was part of their life at some point for whatever reason

The post read "It’s so embarrassing when ppl say HP was important to their childhood so they can’t let it go. [..] is it that you took one step into total brand capture before your brain was fully formed..." these people already have the books, no extra funding here, why not letting them enjoy?

None - I used to be a HP fan when I was a kid, I have great memories with my dead father around these stories, and I am pretty accepting of others when they don't contribute anymore to funding bad individuals and takes. The post was about people who already own the books and I found it harsh is all.
