I was thinking about this last chapter, but like I can see why Roger and Garp had to team up to stop Rocks, with his family AND his home being the center of this killing game. This man probably saw his wife dead at his feet and flew into a full on rage against them.

I like that we get to see young Dragon and young Morgans here too. Like you can see even from a young age, morgans was always a little shit bothering people for the latest info and news xDDD

And then just casually, they later drop the fact that he was one of the strongest characters in the series. Like this man could have just murked ALL of these bandits without batting an eye.

It's weird to me whenever people watching/reading one piece are like "When does it get good?"
Like they didn't just watch a guy get shot point blank and and then the captain of the shooter lose an arm. This all being in episode 4/Chapter 1 btw.

And even then, most of the advice this sweet old woman gives is just how to remove stains from clothes or other random bits that other old people know xD Stuff that has NO relevance to the current situation.
It makes me laugh so much how they've managed to get this far and survived.

I think my favourite bit of One Piece trivia is that Bartolomeo and his crew are just a bunch of street thugs that wanted to be pirates after admiring Luffy so much, but they're so shit at it, that whenever there's trouble, they just call this guy's grandma for advice xDDD
