We disagree here.

Legislation *can* burden/benefit specific individuals to address unique circumstances.

But, I hope you're reading prevails.

I think we agree on the larger issue --
The Trump administration is corrupt, and we're all disgusted with their antics.

Ex post facto wasn't determinative in Fletcher.
Opinion discusses it briefly re *criminal* conduct by GA legislators.

Despite corrupt conduct (Yazoo Land Scandal), and ex post facto (Recinding act of 1796), opinion was firmly rooted in Art. 1, Sec. 10, "Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts".

Not exactly.
For over 200 years the federal courts have interpreted the ex post facto clause to apply to *criminal*, but not *civil* actions.
Expect these senators to get paid.

Earliest case: Calder v. Bull, 3 U.S. 386 (1798).
More recently are dozens of CERCLA/RCRA (Superfund) liability cases.

Incisive reporting.
Two thumbs up.

Always appreciated.
May you heal quickly.

It seemed so plausible. . .

Your post was the first that caused me to question it.
Thank you.

Wild guess of P&G's costs to file?
Presumably, they'd defend their IP for a tidy sum, too.

I've seen others' wavy edged sticky notes and paper towels in the wild. I'm indifferent to the precise wave shapes.

Can you help a naive consumer understand what advantages this filing conferrs? Thanks.

I'm not certain. I think it's automated and was triggered by the swastika symbol in your intro (despite following an Anti). Mere removal may or may not remove you from the list.

I typed skywatch.blue into the search box, and found posts on how others have dealt with similar.

Dodd created exceptions for Hussain, Milosovic, bin Laden, and some 2002 contemporaries. Later it was extended to include others.

But, Netanyahu clearly falls within 22 USC 7432(3)

Accordingly, per §7422(a)(2)(A)(ii), ASPA can't be waived.

Regardless, city mayors can't cooperate; §7423(b).

It's not about foreign nationals, per se.
As Olga explained, it's about not cooperating with ICC.

Or, if you're super curious, here's 22 U.S.C. 81 §7423:

I still read the questions differently.

Not the point -- I was an ass in the way that I responded.

My apologies to Eric.
I'll try to do better.

Reading the Letter of Condemnation hit hard --
Especially seeing all of the elected officals that took a stand.

Given the malice and bad-faith demonstrated by the Trump administration, it's refreshing to see leaders of courage and integrity. You're one of these, Kat.

I'm proud of all of you.
