Udo Kier died so I think im gonna do a full rewatch of Riget soon (the first thing I ever saw him in) and I might watch Bacurau this week (awesome movie, first saw it in Spring and usually need more time to watch stuff again even if i liked something but this gives me the push to)

Took me the entire day to realize why people were posting so many good George Lowe clips 😭 rip 😔 when Croker died I posted the same thing on Tumblr but sneaking into the basement and watching SGCtC late at night (before I was even old enough to get it) was integral to developing my tastes in comedy

The way everyone made fun of Keanu Reeves in the 90s is more accurate of James Duvall imo; what a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL... and dumb dumb DUMB man lol. A true himbo before that was even a term

Kinda 'eh' on Salles tbh but Fernanda Torres is cute and very funny
Don't care about the Oscar's but it's been kinda cool reigniting an interest in Brazilian film and culture again during all this acclaim for I'm Still Here. I was outta the loop until this week but I've watched a few Walter Salles Jr. movies and stuff with Fernanda Torres over the last couple months

Outta every famous martial artist, more than any boxer or MMA fighter, more than even Bruce Lee, he's had the biggest impact on my viewpoints and philosophy. To a fault, tbh; my comfort in self-reliance is bc of him. Pretty much the closest I get to putting a person on a pedestal (besides my mom)

I've used them in the past but in general I'm not big on the kinda sites/apps that track/show off media you're into (comes across as too blatant a hipster thing to me), but I found out last night letterboxd includes a bunch of jdrama on it so I made one lol 😆
