maybe a RISC-V vendor could make a... cluster of dev boards which individually may or may not be in demand for users, ship an attached "modular UPS with removable batteries", and THEN someone in the US does some tomfoolery with those batteries and sells the boards.. win-win for tinkerers surely?

i feel like i don't know how to make music after i switched to bitwig and gave into it and bought it :(
