One can. But, hey ho, if we didn’t leave we wouldn’t have these problems. We wouldn’t be scrabbling around trying to scrape any sort of benefits. Hard to believe we held all the cards…🤔🧐

They are starting to get on my nerves now. They’ve suddenly decided that Brexit is a word they can say now and deride, unfortunately for all of us they are still not going to do anything about it.

He’s an absolute grifter. I really wouldn’t bother yourself looking him up.

At least they are saying it’s because of Brexit which is a step forward.

And that’s why he should never have been leader. Who puts red lines down before Dave. Getting the job? Absolutely pathetic. And now even though he’s started calling it out he won’t go back into the SM even though he knows that’s the answer to growth. Still pandering to the red wall voters

I am in total agreement about safe routes.

The people coming over paying thousands of pounds to get here are not desperate people.

You’re disgusted by him trying to stop criminal gangs behind dangerous boat crossings?? There is a lot to deride Starmer for but that isn’t one them.

I have no idea what you were thinking here but that ‘deal’ is a disgrace.

Oh he certainly will. I can only hope it doesn’t come to pass.

Yes, I do agree about the polarisation. No one is prepared to see anyone else’s pov, especially on Twitter, it is so toxic.
I certainly hope the UK will go back into, at least, the SM, the country needs growth and there is no other way as Starmer and Co are finding out, but red lines and all that..

That is a good question. There are a lot of people easily led by the right wing media. But that doesn’t explain the lack of support going to Lib Dems, maybe rejoiners just don’t see them as a governing party and some still hold out hope for Labour and. others have just accepted Brexit as it is.

A rejoin party.

People would vote differently if they thought their vote counted. As it was people just wanted the Tories out and voted according to how that would best be brought about.
July 4, 2025 at 9:59 AM
Oh I totally agree. I argued with them all the time and I certainly didn’t vote for them.
