obviously this happened in a formative period for me personally but i still find it almost impossible to believe that ppl didnt reorient their worldview around this. like oh my god this rly is how everyone thinks abt illness and health and such

this is a new one for me it's not usually quite so obvious

among other things someone else spoke and i absolutely physically felt as if i had spoken. very disconcerting

or to put it another way, when the freaks in charge of Banks start saying things like "minor market correction" don't u feel kinda queasy lol

im sure there won't be unforseen consequences of all the investment of the biggest companies being in the same thing that obviously doesnt work and won't make money. im sure no one will have incorrectly assessed their exposure bc they spread investment between stocks all valued around one thing

exactly ! it's quite important that god is not like people actually !!

so what im circling towards, for lack of a better argument, is some failure in the same sense that moving towards god has to be a failure, u have to lack. and i don't like it but i like the alternatives very much less

but i can't do that. the sovereignty thing is too important i think. and this is actually the most persuasive argument I've heard, the others are variations on the "transition is like creation" one which imo is just very dubious theology, charlie brown didnt have hoes etc

im not especially opposed to, and if anything i envy the ppl who can flip it and say ah! that was mistaken, the nice stuff was God, not the nasty stuff
