In your sturdy, silent bark, In your shadow-tangled hair, you remain here as if time had no bearing on your name. Always weeping, always will remain lonesome on your hill. Visited my grandma's brother,
dead at one year old.
Forest path that leads here
never feels cold,
the bright colours of Autumn
welcome in their fold.

I often think, my grandma
to her devoted eye
Would any of these

Sorry I haven't been active here as of late. The poetry is flowing, just nothing quite finished. And I've been reading less on here too, but I'll definitely get back to reading all your wonderful poems, stories and looking at your art soon.

Did a Mimikyu (a Pokémon) mazurek (a type of Polish flat cake baked for Easter). I'm not very good at painting with hot chocolate, but I figured "why not share?" ^^

Hear me out! I say to my ghost watching me from somewhere out there, probably on her phone. Hear me out, I murmur, unsure if she listens. I reluctantly get out of the tangled sheets, put on a pair of pants, making sure to scratch my ass beforehand, the sign of the cross. (peering to the heavens for angered thunder bolts) Hear me out, I grunt and gape like an ape, my reflection stares at me from the bathroom mirror, my hoarse words reflecting uncertain off the walls. I wash my face, the water sprays wetting my clothes down to my socks. Bollocks! I need to change! I meant to say today is different. I know I often find myself in the state of undress, unprepared to face the eyes of the uncaring universe, while caressing myself with meaningless words, crafting worlds and seeking science to beat my own silence. But today is different. I’m done playing games. The short video she’s watching ends. That one was strange. She quickly forgets and lets the next one play. As she swipes, the screen feels rough against her fingers. Hear me out, she mutters. In the end nothing changes, but perhaps discontent lingers. @MonikerPoems

I don't really vibe with my own writing as of late, but a shadow of conflict hangs over me and I need to sound it out, even in basic terms. The US betrayal of its own alliance is hard to stomach. Dictatorship is a symptom of weakness. Poem in the picture.
So far Will this 80 years between world wars be something to look proud upon? The first peace was 20 years. We are now far beyond that measly record at the time, but I fear it's not enough. No, it will never be enough. Unless we stop war on such scale from ever occurring again, this long peace will only be the second interim as history will dismiss our lifetimes - meaningless abyss and nuclear waste. @MonikerPoems A crow on a leafless tree in the background

I'll do something I don't do on here often and talk about a book announcement I just heard about. I'm a massive Avatar: the Last Airbender fan and have been loving the Avatar Chronicles book series. I was patiently awaiting the next book coming out in October, when this just got announced. July 22
