March has left my heart full and I’m a bit sad that it is almost over. I so cherish all that this month has given me. April and May also promise to bring gifts of a full life…..but March will always be the owner of my heart.

I made it to Santiago de Compostela. The last stretch was easier at times than expected. I encountered 0 women and several gentlemen along the way. I walked and talked with 2 characters I’ll never forget. Already missing the the reliability & rhythm of each day.

This pilgrim is spent! Made it to caldes de reis with blisters on both feet and limping from sore legs. 16 miles yesterday. 18 today. Tomorrow: rest day. We’re not suppose to suffer. It’s a journey not a race.
