Read it in Lit class in HS. I'm an avid reader and tend to block out everything around me when I'm "in" a book. I look up and everyone in class is under their desks staring at me. Apparently there was a tiny earthquake and I didn't even notice. Hell of a book!

My thoughts exactly. And the fact he was elected so quickly seems to say they had their minds made up to keep moving fwd. A statement imo against the radical right rearing its ugly head in so many parts of the world.

That may be true on many counts. But they're targeting skin color. Hence the native Americans, the Puerto Ricans they're apprehending. So your argument that the race issue is not relevant is false. If they were going after criminals they wouldn't be trying to get into schools.
