This is great, but it’s important to highlight that the Netherlands have & are backing massive port developments in Brazil, including the Açu Port & now the Porto Central project in Presidente Kennedy, on the southeast coast of Espírito Santo, causing significant socio-environmental impacts!

They call it a ‘success’, an 11% drop in deforestation, while the Amazon bleeds from oil & gas exploration, mining, dams & road projects! Cattle & agribusiness cause 90% of the destruction. That’s not climate leadership, that’s greenwashing. Will COP30 address these issues?
