Even Republicans think Gretchen Whitmer *had* potential to be the next Dem for President. Too bad she had to go the way of Columbia, CBS, Paul, Weiss, etc. etc.

Collaborators never fare well once authoritarian regimes end.

@reuters.com WTF?! Y'all know this headline is BS. Y'all make it sound like it was the lawyer who was negligent when the truth is that he was fired because he wouldn't lie to the judge like the DOJ wanted him to.

Fuck y'all.

This is why I follow @meidastouch.com

Dying fleece!

This is what I think is Dorset that I just finished scouring being dyed with Wilton's Kelly Green. It's a sample of an enormous fleece for my next sweater spin. #FinishItFebruary

So, I'm flipping through the news on YouTube. . . .

Ok, my blood pressure is getting way out of hand, I'm going to log off and watch Psych while I knit.

Yesterday, I was doing some swatching and it turned into another sweater. #KnitSky #TherapyKnitting #Fuck47

Finished #SkyKal!

It's hard to block sweaters to look good in pictures when you have this much bust shaping.

Update on my #SkyKnit! Yes, there is an ass ton of bust shaping in it, I'm DDD cup. I added the last motif in the yoke as a detail at the cuff, and will use it in the hem, because I freaking love colorwork!

The pattern is Nova by Knit Purl Girl, the yarn is Nua Worsted, my favorite yarn ever!

WOOHOO! It's lts looking awesome! You should join the #SkyKnit KAL. It's just a bunch of us fiber arting projects that are blue or have blue in them.

Because I'm shameless about my craft, here's my project

An update on my #SkyKnit; I laid it out to take some measurements and Pickles claimed it.

I had to bribe her with treatos to get it back to start the sleeves. But at least it's Pickles Approved.

Here is my contribution for the #SkyKAL.

The pattern is Nova and I'm knitting it in Nua worsted. It's my first circular yolk sweater.

I finished another thing!

Again, this is made from my own Shetland handspun (the sweater, not the cat) and knit using Ann Budd's basic raglan formula in The Knitter's Handy Book of Top Down Sweaters. The stripes are a blend of the moorit and white and it was spun woolen at heavy fingering to DK

I won yarn chicken!

The pattern is from Ann Budd's The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns. The yarn was spun from Knit Picks Wool of the Andes blended with gold sari silk spun from rolags, 2 ply, fingering weight and knitted on US 1 needles.

One down, one to go. I'm going to be playing yarn chicken and, let me tell you, you haven't *really* played yarn chicken until you've played handspun yarn chicken!
December 5, 2024 at 5:53 PM
And this is just my spinning WIP. Y'all should see the pile of knitting I have!

Excuse Bucky trying to get into the picture.

The world may be absolute shit right now, but at least Aldi's Dominoes are back

It's the Tour de Fleece! Prepping a Shetland bat from a Shetland ram fleece named David Hasselhoff. I'm spinning it long draw and hope to get a sweater quantity from it. Ok, maybe not a SQ for my DDD body, but somebody.
