Cuomo was in power for a DECADE, and he FAILED to fix the housing crisis in NYC.

Now he wants your vote? Give me a break.

When asked his top 3 regrets, Cuomo “did not mention how his administration purposely undercounted the number of COVID-related nursing home deaths, nor the sexual harassment allegations... Cuomo did not mention how NY taxpayers have spent more than $17 million on his legal bills" 👀

We are more than props. We are people.

Black New Yorkers deserve more than an ex-Governor who sits in our pews on Sunday, and cuts our schools on Monday.

I have a vision to move our city forward. My remarks at Al Sharpton's National Action Network:

Black New Yorkers bore the brunt of Andrew Cuomo's failures in Albany.

We need leadership that serves our communities — not a man who uses our communities when he seeks redemption.

This new proposal from Zellnor Myrie is what it looks like to actually grapple with the city's needs. The point isn't whether you agree with all of it. By all means, come up with other ideas on a similar scale. The point is that this is the needed scale.

When my wife and I look at the cost of buying a home in our neighborhood, it feels impossible.

We need far more than the City of Yes — but it's a step in the right direction. I urge the Council to resist efforts to revise the proposal in any way that would yield fewer homes.
