Yesterday I spent time volunteering at our local community kitchen. Instead of consuming, scrolling chaos, I participated in a spot of goodness. Put a smile on my face. Here is some of the bounty and my smile.

I met two first time protesters today one was 18 and one was 84. Warmed my heart. The 18 yo asked me how old I was when I first protested. "The 6th grade." Then she asked, "Do you have any suggestions for me?" "You already did it. You showed up."
