might be biased, but if wayforward ever do alt characters in a shantae game again, batgal would be a perfect candidate. would be a three-fold reference to castlevania by being a vampire that turns into a bat (alucard), that uses a chain whip (belmont) while also being a non-boss mob (old axe armor)

one minor nitpick when people draw fan art of the batgal enemy from the shantae games is that they usually forget the tail is part of the leotard, rather than "built-in" like traditional demon tails.

went and resprited the risky's revenge/pirate's curse version from scratch using photos from the back of the artbook and palettes from risky revolution's version

100%'ed shantae risky revolution. Beyond the novelty of playing another formerly canceled game (after star fox 2) think they did a pretty good job with it. feels like it has more depth compared to the DSiware title
