He is a worrisome character. He's highly intelligent and must be discomfited playing second fiddle to the tangerine Mussolini. Clearly he and his backers expect greater things. I'm I'm glad that his attempt to deconstruct the Catholic theology of love was brusquely rebuffed by the soon-to-be Pope.
