Oh, cool then yeah, you're fine. That's how I played it, beat it for the first time earlier this year, definitely holds up even though at times it can feel a bit old school. Music is incredible as well.

A really good story based jrpg if you haven't played it already is Lost Odyssey. Only thing that sucks about it is it's locked to xbox but it's at least available thru backwards compatibility.

I had the same problem at first and yeah it was annoying lol, if you just click/tap the 3 dots on the bottom of a post there's an option to show less like this, might have to do it to a few of them before they stop appearing but it definitely worked for me

I have been putting off playing it on my wii u for like a year and half now on the hopes that it would get a switch release and finally the procrastination pays off lol.

I would say that if you like good storytelling and have some patience Xenoblade can be incredibly rewarding, I put 2 out of the 3 games in the main trilogy among some of my favorites of all time, they can be really good experiences. Definitely not for everyone but the music is always incredible.
