Looks like the 1.4 billion number came from ProPublica’s report from a few years back, but it’s not from 2023. It’s for a few years in the 2010s. Which would make the effective tax rate shamefully low. I doubt Bezos’ 2023 returns are public.

The season finale devastated me. I was in literal mourning for weeks, but if I could be like you seeing it for the first time, I would still watch.

Two words: dimples, and lips

Not just ruining American lives either — they are ruining American itself, with calculated malice. It’s terrifying, and so obviously anti-American. How could anyone calling themself a patriot support it? They are the end of democracy and the beginning of a totalitarian feudalist nightmare.

A show of force like this is meant to intimidate the enemy. So from this photo we can infer two things:
1) The people are the enemy 2) They are taking us seriously for a change
