Equipping Earplugs that can block all roars takes a metric fuck ton of slots or a super specific armor set. If this were World I'd agree (btw base World was the best Monster Hunter gameplay wise cus it was 4U without the jank and it didn't have the clutch shit yet)

And then when you do finally catch up to him he just roars, stunning you, and hits you with an unavoidable fireball, knocking you out the zone, and when you come back, *he's just camping the entrance so he can stunlock you*.
