All this to illustrate the point that these kinds of preaching moralistic arguments that things are bad and shouldn't exist simply because they contain sensitive subjects really hold no water with me and in fact often stand in opposition to the things they claim to stand for.

-such as drug abuse, rape, exploitative relationships, sex trafficking, etc. But she handles those topics carefully and in no way glorifies it. She shares a perspective and experience that real people have with those who may not be able to see or relate to it otherwise.

I don't know anything about this game tbh, but I do want to offer some thoughts on this person's reasoning.
There's an author, Heather O'Neill, who I was introduced to with her novel "Lullabies for Little Criminals." Its a beautiful and meaningful book, but she writes about some disturbing topics-

I mean, I voted for Carney because I despise PP, but he's far from perfect. He backed Israel for as long as he could get away with it and bends over backwards for American oil billionaires while ignoring Canadian environmental and First Nations groups. I wish he were a leftist and not a neoliberal.

I think about this a lot. We've never had more access to all the tragedy and injustice in the world, and there's no way thinking about all that all the time is good for us. But I don't think I can justify turning a blind eye to it, so we just have to make things better where we can little by little.

Just as a heads up, I obviously don't know whether it is AI or not, but it's not a situation where it definitely is.
Looking into her a bit, she does seem to have a portfolio of art in this style on tumblr going back quite a way (at least 2012 or so). So it is plausible that this is real art. Though it does make throwing her lot in with the slop machine and discrediting all her other art an even weirder decision.
