There's some lore too! Basically, this form gets him more in tune with his fire magic, by turning him completely INTO fire and containing that safely in a soft shell. What this sacrifices in physical strength, it makes up for in attuning him even more strongly to his fiery abilities~

So Lapideans are a REALLY cool species, I'd highly recommend checking out the guide, as well as the community Discord itself! Lots of skilled artists, writers and overall cool folks there.

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THIS:
Complex shine (i.e. rubbery textures with detailed, gradiented shine) on fullshaded pieces will be an extra £30 GBP - so £120 GBP in total! I can do simpler shine like these two pics (i.e. no gradients on the highlights) for £90 total, however!
