Although most might deem themselves non religious, the pacifier for fascism has always been seeking comfort in a belief system and the church. Right now, a lot of people believe the ordained hand of a white man who is part of a religious institution will extend to impacting or mediating their fall.

It has always been about how respectability politics and whiteness can formulate it to fit whatever narrative socially required. Right now, that narrative is that anything outside of the fascist takeover in America (specifically and only) is progressive and woke.

The entire scope of being woke as an act of being socially, politically and individually aware of what happens around you and systematically has never been inclusive to those who were the reason for wokeness being recognized.
