Our first aster bloom! I've never grown aster before and was gifted it at a gardening class in the Spring. It was a tiny little stick when I brought it home. I will definitely add more to our land. 🏵️ Spirit, our barn cat, loves to follow me everywhere. She won't stay still unless I'm petting her. 🥰

I went for a hike today and was in awe of the Northern Sea Oats and how the White Snakeroot was growing out of a large rock.

I cannot grow orchids, but my mother can. We found this out when my husband surprised me with some and I promptly was left with all sticks and no blooms. I took them to my mother, she worked her magic, and now they bloom prolifically.

We decided not to mow three acres of our land in hopes that native plants would grow helping pollinators. I now see a variety of butterflies and dragonflies when I walk my property. 🦋🌻

My resolution "Support for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome" has progressed to the ENA General Assembly! I feel both elated and honored. Fingers crossed for approval! It would be fantastic for emergency department nurses around the globe to gain insight into POTS. 🧂🧂🧂

Yesterday I submitted my final draft of a resolution to the Emergency Nurses Association's Governance detailing the need for increased awareness and education of POTS. 🧂 Today I got my package from Heirloom Roses with some plant food and worm castings. 😁 A little gift for my hard work! 🌹

This rose from Heirloom Roses was supposed to get to a max height of 4-6 feet. Every year it has surpassed that to tower over me! I absolutely ❤️ it! One of these days I'll get a sturdy topiary for its support.
