Actually, let me amend that. When speaking to the younger generation, we always default to whatever the kids call them. To my daughter, my sister is Tumma (cuz my nephew couldn't say Aunt Autum). Dad gets called Grandpa by everyone now, his own kids included.

My sister and i regularly use "sister" and "sissy" for each other even though she's in her 30s and I'm in my 40s. I don't think I've used her name to call her more than a handful of times in all those years. My brother gets called bubba because my sister couldn't pronounce brother when he was born.
