There is no way he (and family) knew about this and didn’t seek treatment. When my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the time from initial diagnosis to a treatment plan is excruciating- worry, wonder, scary thoughts intrude in every part of your day-he didn’t just wait 4 months to tell us.

As horrifying as this was to watch, I can’t imagine the narrative if this had been behind closed doors.
