🇪🇺🇷🇸 Protesting students and other citizens of Serbia have a quite simple demand; no dialogue about the rule of law but its implementation. The real problem is the government’s unwillingness to truly choose the EU path. #Serbia

I’ve spent nearly 50y under some kind of dictatorship, and numbers can’t describe the level of suffering and damage to the human mind those monstrous regimes are making. Idiocrasy is spreading like a fire worldwide – a pathology that must be treated, not merely mocked.

In today’s Vatnik Soup, I’ll introduce a Serbian academic, Ratko Ristić. He’s best known for engaging in pro-Kremlin, ultranationalist politics and propaganda while undermining business ties between Serbia and the EU.

✨ The BBC Micro, developed by Acorn Computers, was the classroom computer for a generation in the UK. Originally created for the BBC’s computer literacy TV programs, it became a symbol of education in the 1980s. 📚

Our unit still has stickers for Yugoslav characters once used with it! 🌍✍️
