The relaunch is officially underway. Write three, record three and get them back out in the wild.

The latest one is going to be fun. What do teens do on lazy summer days in the 80s? How about “wake the dead”?

As it turns out, my latest story for the podcast doesn't want to stay micro or short. It is one of the tales that really wants more time to exist.

Another editing pass before I record this one. It could run 20 minutes, which means I better stock up on water.

A quick life update. Work has been incredibly busy, so my evening energy is pretty zapped. It has been hard to find time to write, but I am still trying.

I did finish a draft of a new story, but it is pretty long. It is going to take a while to edit but I hope you enjoy it when it is done.

For those playing the long game, I am still writing. What has happened is that my stories are getting longer and better, so that means I need more time to edit them. The good news is you have over one hundred pass works to keep you company.

The better news is they are all free.

See you soon.

The horror stories have not been flowing lately, but I did write a movie review for Nosferatu and Late Night With The Devil on my Ko-FI page. Check them out.

Instead of writing podcast stories this week, I have been eatting far too much food and being merry.

My soul is happy, but my body is protesting.

The podcast may be on hiatus, but the hits keep coming. Thanks to everyone who is listening and following. You can find it everywhere, including YouTube.

Hopefully, we will have new episodes in the new year.
I just hit 20,000 downloads on my podcast “Moments In Time And Space”,hosted on @podbeancom!

Still alive here. Just on hiatus because of life and work. I really want wrote but I only have so many hours in the day.

On the positive, I am 200 downloads off of 20,000.

Looks like another busy weekend where I will be doing very little writing.

The good news is I am planning to come back hard with the podcast on 2025 for sure along with an anthology collection of some of the best stories.

My long-term goal: Finish the poetry book about the Rise and Fall of Mars.

Work is finally easing up, so I think I can get the podcast back in track next week. So far, I have the following titles plan for forthcoming episodes:

Episode 107 - Bad Space
Episode 108 - The Attic
Episode 109 - The Black Parade

I can hardly wait to get writing again and working on my anthology.

I did not count on a super bad cold taking me out for the last week. No energy to write and while I am bit better, my voice is not podcast quality.

Now, ASMR deep rumbling voice… you are in luck.

Hoping to get some writing done tonight. I have three projects on the go and I would like to finish one of them this year.
November 3, 2024 at 10:25 PM
Work is finally settling and I can get back to the podcast. Looking forward to recording Episode 106 this weekend.

Feels good to be writing again.
November 2, 2024 at 3:01 AM
Still working on my next episode. Sorry for the delay, but life is busy.

Horror anthology is still coming along nicely.

Someone asked me to make short videos of my writing progress. Part of me feels unqualified because I don’t feel I am a superstar author. Part of me feels very qualified as I have been writing for nearly 40 years.

Time to dust off this account and get it back breathing again.

Working on story 106 right now (Bad Space). It is one of those stories that just flows out of your brain. As work slows down, I can get back to writing my horror anthology.

I cannot believe I am two episodes from 100 for my podcast. One hundred stories... I never thought I could come up with twenty, let along one hundred. I just wish I had more time to write more. Ah well, it is what it is!
January 22, 2024 at 2:04 PM
“The Hangman’s Tree” is almost ready to be recorded. This episode made my top ten list and I hope listeners will enjoy it as well.

Expected it on the podcast stream this week.
January 20, 2024 at 4:32 PM
As I settled onto the ancient throne of shells, I could hear the thoughts of all life in the seas. The creatures familiar to me were calm as they swam through my mind. When I heard the ancient beasts that lurked in the blackest depths with intentions too dark to describe, I cried out in terror.

Today is bitter cold. I am talking about the cold that stings you face immediately when you step outside and feels like needles in your lungs with each breath.

I wonder if there is a story to be told about this kind of weather.
January 19, 2024 at 2:58 PM
And another story draft is complete. "The Hangman's Tree" was one of those works that just flowed onto the page like a clear stream of water. It is nice to have it happen once in a while.

Let's see if I can shape it into a worthy podcast episode.
January 18, 2024 at 3:18 PM
I was having breakfast this morning and thinking of the weather, when a totally random phrase popped into my bead.

The Hangman’s Tree.

An hour later, I have a full story written in my head. It is more suspense than horror, I think, but it should be one of
my favourites.

What scares me?

That one day, one of my stories becomes reality. As I watch the world around me, with the ongoing climate change and the rise of AI, I fear we creep closer to a point where episodes “Driven” or “Flooded” are no longer fiction.
January 17, 2024 at 3:34 PM
It is hard to believe that I am only three stories away from one hundred. When I started this podcast, I figure I might have twenty stories to tell if I was lucky.

They may not come as fast as they use to, but they are still coming. Can I do one hundred more? Time will tell.

Keep writing.
