It’s more which anti growth policies each party opposes. Generally Republicans support anti-density policies or ones that have taxes rise to meet assessments and Democrats oppose weakening environmental review or reducing union requirements for construction.

NIMBY policies are bipartisan. Republicans in California and New York love NIMBY policies more than Democrats. NIMBY policies are more a high density state vs low density state issue rather than a partisan one.

And what’s wild is they did it with relatively poor ownership (they were one of the last teams owned by an owner whose wealth came from team ownership). Now they’re owned by the group that owns the Dodgers.

That’s a secular trend that is also hitting the human health care industry. It’s not just because veterinarians are women.
