As someone who has lived in LA for twenty years, this is the LAPD’s MO. When I found my brother in law dead, they showed up late and were joking among each other (literally laughing). Then when there is a protest, they can’t wait to put on armor and attack the citizenry they “protect and serve”.

Funny how ICE who is so allegedly fighting undocumented gang members has only managed to round up normal working class people, traumatize children, and fight US citizens in the streets.

The federal government is taking over the California National Guard and deploying 2,000 soldiers in Los Angeles — not because there is a shortage of law enforcement, but because they want a spectacle.

Don't give them one.
