So I am up, and have been for 3 hours now, thanks to a bug crawling on my face while I slept. The triggering and flashback effect on my C-PTSD is an added bonus. Ugh.

Haven't posted much on here yet. My heart is still pretty heavy for the recent incidents at Reagan National Airport. I'm still coming to terms what the fact my kid is 18. It's been a fun week over here

Today, I found and bought a roll of butter rum Lifesavers at the hardware store. It immediately transported me to car rides w/ my grandpa. A sense of calm I haven't had in ages came over me. It's amazing how such a little thing can bring you back from weeks of crippling anxiety.
