Torn between doing something ship related or Lark related for valentines day. On one hand romance is correct, on the other my brain connects Lark so tightly to valentines day due to her initially being called hearts/love in general being a tie for her.

Had to edit something but: warrior cat women updated designs. So far yellowfang has been the easiest for me to sketch out and draw. I have ine more character I want to draw before I take a mini break.

Swings back around with more fun facts: there is a canon book in the warrior cat series where a beloved side character was revealed to have been groomed in her childhood and the writer of it tried to pretend it wasn't grooming because "they're cats"

I guess last warrior cat post for now before I go crazy: in spite of my love for the series it has a lot of garbage. Sexism and ableism are a constant. The treatment of women by the authors and fanbase is horrible. And disabled characters are often written like burdens and self loathing.

Oh okay one more funny note for non-warrior cat fans: the final antagonist in the first arc is confirmed to be an atheist, most leaders have 9 lives given by starclan. So he has only 1 and it makes him more killable. He's not the only important atheist in the books.

Oh on the subject of warriors: those books, to this day, have moments that I can look back on and still get chills thinking about. I stopped reading after omen of the stars because Firestar died and it felt like the ending of an era but I still have a love for the series, warts and all.
