In my corner of the Baltiverse, I meet a lot of people who are desperate for control. Sometimes, that's only natural. When everything is awful and out of control, you look for the one thing you can have power over. In other cases, folks are on a constant power trip.

Those folks can be exhausting.
Come for a little insight into local police pursuits. Stay for the guy who rammed a patrol car while driving with a learner's permit.

Suspicious death investigations happen on a relatively frequent basis and BPD doesn't typically say anything about them. I wonder why this one warranted a press statement?

My lack of devotion to Bluesky is in part due to the fact that the default setting is that everyone can reply, and I often forget to adjust it. I'm not a friendly person in real life. I'm more of a "distrusting cat beneath the couch" type. Truth is, I don't want to interact with everybody.

Every morning, I listen to overnight activity. This time, a sad incident where a guy purposely overdosed on pills caught my ear. His fiance said he'd convinced himself that she'd cheated on him and took a bunch of pills. For the first time, I felt lucky my ex decided to take the toxic route instead.

There was a crash involving multiple vehicles, including commercial trucks, inside the I-95 tunnel this morning.

It was wet and cold. I didn't know where I was going to park or if I'd even be able to get any video footage because of the location of the crash. My attitude was 🗑️.

A windstorm damaged power lines in northwest Baltimore. The damaged lines set fire to some trees. Then there was an explosion and the power went out. I got it all on film.

Well, I ran away with everyone else and left the camera running. That's how I got it.
