It is a good article. And I really wish @theatlantic.com would consider how it impacts readers to use computer generated voices to read your articles. I’m sure it’s a financial decision but seriously, I’m willing to give a competitive bid. It hurts my feelings every time I see an AI audio link.

So.. I have written several times to managing editor offering to read Atlantic stories for less than the cost Atlantic is paying for its AI read stories presently.
It’s not apples and oranges re article but why is Atlantic using a computer voice when you could hire a human—say like me?
