Once Norm feels safe (it usually takes no more than 30 minutes) he’s your best friend forever.

Norm is also very popular! Norm club is an occasional gathering in which friends come over, eat hot dogs, and ignore Norm until he feels safe.

Norm’s stranger danger doesn’t stop him from having a good and adventurous life.

He is exactly the sweet potato you think he is, and he is also very afraid of strangers.

Every morning the dogs perform the Baloney Show, in which they do tricks for baloney (or cheese, or dog treats). It took Marty and Chicken a few days to learn this move, it took Norm several months.

We thought Chicken was going to be Norm’s size but she never got big. She is a bundle of energy, our 3 season athlete, teacher’s pet, work hard/play hard girl boss with incredible self esteem. She’s the only one of the three who we got as a puppy, and even though she’s 4 now, she’s just a baby.

Chicken, formally Chicken Elizabeth Wing also goes by Chickadee, Chickpea, Chickodemous, Peanut and Baby Dog.

Marty is an elegant mutt, our old guy at about 11 years old, and a total cop. He keeps the house safe with his constant barking and makes sure the little dog stays in line. We have invited him to retire from his line of work over and over but he just won’t give it up.

Marty, formally S. Marty Pants goes by Martin, Marto, Martholomew, Fluffy Butt, and Sergeant Martin.
